Tired of teaching at home? Kids can now do free online classes with the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Aquarium

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Aquarium has launched a new ‘online oceans’ program that lets kids take part in on everything from sharks to ocean plastics.

Created by the Aquarium’s animal experts and educators, children now have free access to a variety of , including how to make plastic-free glitter and tinted lip balm. Or they can get hypnotized by sea otters, jellyfish or penguins in one of the aquarium’s .

For small groups, teens and older kids, the Aquarium is also opening up its virtual “.” Usually reserved for schools, the $45, 45-minute classes let you meet virtually with one of the aquarium’s educators in a live deep dive on such topics as careers in conservation or reptiles and amphibians. 

“Multiple families can split the cost to take part in a single session, each from their own home computer,” noted a spokesperson for the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Aquarium.
