A Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»driver has been ticketed after crashing into two women crossing Third Street at Bewicke Avenue Tuesday morning.
According to North Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»RCMP, the women in their 60s were in the crosswalk just before 7 a.m. when a left-turning driver attempted to illegally pass the driver of a truck waiting for the women to clear the intersection.
Both were sent to hospital with minor injuries. The driver was ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian, which carries a maximum $167 fine.
