The heat warning and air quality advisory due to wildfire smoke have been lifted for Metro Vancouver, and now it looks like the region could see some rain and even thunder activity.
The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»forecast for Monday, Aug. 16 calls for cloudy conditions all day, and a high of 21 C, according to Environment Canada.
There's a 60 per cent chance of showers Monday morning, which will drop to a 30 per cent chance this afternoon, however, it goes back up to 60 per cent overnight.
Also a possibility overnight: a thunderstorm.
The overnight low is forecast as 15 C, with windy conditions near the Strait of Georgia kicking in this evening and carrying into the night.

By Environment CanadaTuesday's forecast indicates the clouds will hang around a little longer, along with a 30 per cent chance of showers in the morning, and the return of smoke to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»skies. The temp should bump up a bit with a 23 C high on Tuesday.
So far, Wednesday and Thursday could be our only clear and sunny days in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»this week. Looking ahead, the clouds could move back in by Friday, and a resumed rain watch on Saturday night and into Sunday, putting a possible damper on late summer weekend plans.
