Port Moody police are looking for two male teens who alleged shot at pedestrians and vehicles with BB gun pellets late Friday, June 21.
Const. Sam Zacharias, spokesperson for the Port Moody Police Department, said officers were called to David Avenue and Forest Park Way (East) at around 8 p.m. after a tip about the teens who were randomly firing an airsoft-style rifle.
Port Moody police and Coquitlam Mounties attended the scene and interviewed a passerby who was injured by a pellet; another pedestrian also reported via social media they were hit, Zacharias said.
The suspects are described as:
- White males
- 15 or 16 years old
- slim builds
- dark hair
One teen wore a blue-collared shirt with buttons while the other was wearing blue jeans.
It’s believed both teens fled to a nearby trail close to Noons Creek.
