The Warner Brothers TV “Batwoman” will be filming tonight in the City of New Westminster and the shoot calls for “significant action.”

A resident notification letter from Renraw Production Services states that filming will take place at 48 Begbie Street from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m. However, a minimal crew will be on location throughout the day Wednesday to prepare for the shoot.

Earlier this month, a resident notification letter was sent out before a Nov. 7 shoot that called for the use of exposed weapons, a van that crashes into a motorcycle, and atmospheric smoke.

The most recent notice states that filming will begin with exterior dialogue scenes at 48 Begbie Street, and that exposed weapons will be involved in the shoot. However, it adds that there will be, "Police on site for the exposed weapons and safety."

The notice adds that filming will require bright lights on stands, but that it will try to direct the lights at the scene. With this in mind, it states that the area will appear brighter than usual. Further, it notes that atmospheric smoke will be used, but that there won't be any gunfire or special effects.

Alexander Street will be closed from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m. on from Carnarvon Street to the cul-de-sac. As such, only local traffic will be accommodated.

Filming is set to continue overnight until 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21.

On Nov.1, the City of 鶹ýӳwarned residents that there would be another film shoot with highly visible graphic content in Gastown.

The shoot, which involved multiple mock dead bodies and even a mock dead police horse, transformed the city streets into a post-apocalyptic hellscape. Based on the horror novel The Stand by Stephen King, the set design for the TV series “Radio Nowhere” calls for a great deal of disturbing imagery, dialogue and noise.
