Glad to be able to connect with Aaron Ross, the lead singer and songwriter in the East Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Indie Soul Band The Boom Booms. Aaron and the band love to tour, and have busked across Europe, performed in the Brazilian Amazon, Rio’s famous ‘Casa Rosa’, toured in a Scamper RV for the entirety of the 12,000 km roundtrip from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to Panama and circumnavigated the United States twice in their yellow school bus.
Now, if you haven't seen one of the their shows you are missing out. Such a fun vibe, and honestly things can get a little crazy up at the front of the stage. Their female fan base gets pretty riled up. While shooting their Finale performance at the PEAK Performance Project British Columbia (where they took home a $75,000 prize) some girl was trying to crawl between my legs to get to the stage....and I was leaning on it. Oddly, with all this attention, he says the number one question they get asked is actually "Who drives the bus?"
Aaron lives in the house his Grandfather built after returning from WWII, and he later installed this full-on 70's era bar downstairs. Aaron celebrated his 32nd birthday this week, so if you see him around, wish him a belated Happy Birthday!
You can see The Boom Boom play next on Canada Day (July 1 ) In White Rock for Canada Day By The Bay. Be sure to check out to listen to their music and for more show dates.
