Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»police and firefighters teamed up to rescue a doggo in a perilous predicament over the weekend.
The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Fire Fighters IAFF Local #18 shared a video of a golden-colored pooch that had walked out of a balcony from an apartment and onto a very narrow ledge.
The frightened canine managed to walk out to the other side of the building before it laid down on the slim surface. Thankfully, a Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Police Department (VPD) officer was able to coax the dog close to the balcony and then pull it up over the railing to safety.
"I’m sure we’ve all heard of [firefighters] saving cats from trees but [Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»police] saving dogs from balconies is a new one," commented the firefighter's local, adding that the rescue was a joint effort between the VPD and the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Fire Rescue Services (VFRS).
