Is there a more adorable way to keep track of all your important appointments?

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Police Department's (VPD) 2021 Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Police Dogs calendar is now on sale, and according to police, the 2021 edition looks "paw-some!"

The annual calendar always features members of the VPD Canine Unit and their four-legged partners, captured "in their best poses as they work to keep the city safe," the local police force explained in a release.

For example, the 2020 calendar featured some truly special shots of B.C. police dogs with their handlers out kayaking, skateboarding and even rock climbing. Other photos showed the pups enjoying a well-deserved pool party, or answering tough questions at a packed press conference.

Each calendar costs $15, with all funds raised going towards the BC Cancer Foundation and the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The VPD says the calendar's sales have raised over $400,000 for charity since 2010. The idea for a police dog calendar was originally conceived by retired VPD Sergeant Mike Anfield, in honour of his wife Candy, a VPD officer who passed away in 2004 following a valiant battle with breast cancer.

The  currently has 16 handler / dog teams who collectively serve the city 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each team is trained in criminal apprehension, as well as narcotics, firearms and explosives detection.

You can purchase your own 2021 Police Dog calendars  through the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Police Foundation, at a VPD Public Information Counter (located at 3585 Graveley Street and 2120 Cambie Street, at , ' Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»locations or at .
