Surrey RCMP announced Monday afternoon that the young girl was found safe and sound.

Surrey RCMP is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 12-year-old girl.
She was last seen at 4 a.m. on May 15 in the 9100 Block of 136A Street in Surrey and has not been heard from since.
Police say it is unusual for her not to be in contact and RCMP and her family are concerned for her health and well-being.
