A Scandinavian outdoor brand is launching a new concept store in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»inspired by Swedish "lagom."
, a Swedish brand born out of a passion for freeskiing in 1986, is no newcomer to the Canadian west coast.
The outdoor sports apparel retailer currently has a location in Whistler where it offers high-quality, functional clothing designed to endure the most demanding adventures, from skiing and hiking to mountain biking and trail running, and even urban adventures.
On Nov. 17 the Scandinavian brand will unveil a new store in Vancouver's Kitsilano neighbourhood at 2123 West 4th Avenue.
The 1,900 sq ft space will feature a Care and Repair section in the coming months where customers can patch and repair damaged items. There will also be in-store professional wash and laundry services.
Vancouverites are in for a special treat too. The new Peak Performance store will also have a cozy hot chocolate bar to create a truly "lagom" Swedish experience. Lagom is a Swedish word meaning not too much, not too little, but just the right amount. It's a philosophy that strives for balance in every area and juncture of everyday life.
The new store's hours will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
