Curious to see if you're favourite binge-watch has been renewed? Read on to find out.

Creepshow (Shudder)

The fourth season of this horror anthology series (a continuation of the 1982 series) features a constantly rotating cast of characters and is hosted by a ghoul.

Production dates: May 24-July 21, 2022.

Cruel Summer (Freeform)

This breakout teen-centric hit moved production for its second season (from Dallas to Vancouver). If it is renewed for a third season, there’s no guarantee it will stay put because it’s an anthology series, and each chapter will take place in a different setting with a new cast. For the fourth season, the production moved from Atlanta to Vancouver.

Production dates: April 21 – August 19, 2022.

Family Law (The CW)

It’s very rare for Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to play itself in a TV show, making Family Law (set at a downtown Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»law firm) unique. Starring Victor Garber, season three is now filming, and the Corus series has been picked up for international syndication, including Italy, Australia and the US (on The CW).

Production date: May 24-August 31, 2022.

Firefly Lane (Netflix)

Netflix has axed several TV shows, but Firefly Lane is safe. Starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke, the first season was a breakout hit and season two recently wrapped filming, with several sightings of production happening downtown. For those

Production date: Season two wrapped in late April 2022.

Kung Fu (The CW)

The CW has recently made several cuts to its production list, but Kung Fu is a go for season three. Adapted from the 1970s series of the same name, this action series stars Olivia Liang as a vigilante who uses her martial arts skills to protect her community in San Francisco.

Production date: TBA.

Nancy Drew (The CW)

This series is set in Horseshoe Bay, Maine and often films in Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver. It differs from the book series because this college-age Nancy deals with supernatural mysteries and is not a high-school detective who solves crimes.

Production date: TBA.

One of Us Is Lying (Peacock)

Described as The Breakfast Club meets I Know What You Did Last Summer meets Gossip Girl, this adaptation of a book of the same name. In it, five teens walk into detention, but only four make it out alive, and the one who didn't was about to post some salacious gossip on an app.

Production date: TBA.

Peacemaker (HBO Max)

This Suicide Squad spin-off from James Gunn stars John Cena as Peacemaker. He joins a black-ops group that is hunting butterflies that take over the bodies of humans. The series was a critical hit, and the audience grew month-over-month for HBO Max. James Gunn is attached to direct every episode in the second season.

Production date: TBA.

Superman and Lois (The CW)

A suburban take on the superhero and his super journalist wife as they navigate the realities of modern parenthood earned rave reviews for its first season and is already filming season two.

Production date: Season three TBA.

Riverdale (The CW)

This adult adaptation of the Archie comics has had everything from a cult to ghosts to serial killers. Some of the cast is close to 30, and going into the seventh season; it’s unclear if this will be the series finale.

Production date: August 31, 2021-July 15, 2022.

The Flash (The CW)

The Flash was considered a strong consideration for season nine renewal because it’s one of The CW’s strongest comic book series and its third-longest running series.

Production date: TBA.

The Good Doctor (ABC)

This long-running medical series is a solid performer for ABC (and Netflix), so it’s no surprise that it will see another season. Surrey City Hall stands in for San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital, and Surrey Civic Plaza is also heavily featured.

Production date: TBA.

Upload (Amazon Prime)

Upload is one of Amazon’s most popular TV series. Set in 2033 when people are given a choice to “upload” to an afterlife where they straddle the line between virtual heaven and the physical world.

Production date: TBA.

Why Women Kill (Paramount+)

In late December, this dramedy anthology series headed by Marc Cherry tells overlapping domestic stories (season one focused on infidelity) that lead to death.

Production date: July 6-October 31, 2022.
