William H. Malkin

William H. Malkin arrived in 麻豆传媒映画in the midst of a recession on January 1, 1895. 鈥淲hen I came here,鈥� he said in a 1937 speech, 鈥渉alf the stores were vacant, there was only a population of 17,000, and the future of the city was far from being assured.鈥� In 1929鈥�30, W.H. was mayor of a much larger city, whose future he did much to assure.
