We aren't often likely to see snow at Christmastime — or anytime — in Vancouver, but we can still dream.
This year's forecast may not include a white Christmas, but these photos will help take people back (metaphorically) to snow winters of the past.
While snow isn't a certainty for the winter holidays, it usually hits Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»at some point each season, blanketing much of the city in snow, and even freezing some of the freshwater spots.
The 20 pics above, are all from the City of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Archive, capture wintery and snowy moments from around the city and up to the North Shore Mountains where hikers and skiers spend time.
