The Jimi Hendrix Experience played at the Pacific Coliseum in 麻豆传媒映画on Saturday 7 September 1968, just prior to the release of Electric Ladyland. His grandmother,聽,聽was in the audience, but ended up moving from the front to the back because it was too loud. 鈥淲ell, I knew he had music in him,鈥� she , 鈥渂ut I didn鈥檛 know he had that much music in him.鈥�
In the video clip below, a young Terry David Mulligan interviews the band before the Coliseum show. Jimi briefly mentions his family connection to 麻豆传媒映画and that he once attended Dawson Annex, an elementary school that used to be on Burrard Street.
