Canucks

Driving the puck home, Barry Wilkins (number 4) scores for the Canucks in the third period during their inaugural NHL game against the Los Angeles Kings. Sadly, though historic, it was not enough, as the Kings won 3–1. The Canucks would finish their first season second to last of the East Division, only one point ahead of the Detroit Red Wings.
