This image from the City of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Archives shows some structures built on the shores of what is now Coal Harbour by the Squamish First Nations people, before the city was founded in 1868. Around this time the first wave of foreign "ownership" was hitting the area and would change it forever, displacing many of those who were here before Europeans arrived. History really does have a way of repeating itself.
