East Vancouver's is going to be publishing another title from history author this October.
Murder By Milkshake will tell the sensational story of CKNW personality, Rene Castellani, who murdered his wife in the 1960s by lacing her milkshakes and other food with arsenic.
Eve has written about this story previously in her title, which shares stories from older homes in the Lower mainland. In that book she dug up all sorts of stories you've never heard, about homes that "housed bootlegging joints secret rooms, murderers, or ghosts". The house where the Castellanis lived still stands ( is a look at it on Google Street View).
Look forward to the release of Murder By Milkshake in October 2018. She's sure to dig deep and tell the whole story behind this notorious Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»murder, and we'll provide a review of the title once it's out.
UPDATE Nov. 6, 2018: Check out the from the publisher, the  on the murder, and our interview with her on the V.I.A. Podcast.
