Jericho Beach
Jericho Beach became a military air station for flying boats following the war. This photograph shows a Curtiss seaplane belonging to the Royal Canadian Air Force. Aircrafts from the station carried out forest and fishery patrols, fought forest fires, conducted aerial photography and generally kept an eye on the coast from the air.
