First Post Office

Vancouver鈥檚 first postmaster was Maximilian 鈥淢axie鈥� Michaud, who made the astounding trip from Montreal to 麻豆传媒映画by foot, arriving in July 1869. After buying the New Brighton Hotel (the two-storey building), Maxie established the city鈥檚 first unofficial post office in its kitchen.
