A longtime Canucks fan got the last laugh in earlier this month.
Victoria man Russell George Atkins died on Jan. 13.
But the last line in his obituary has some Canucks fans laughing for the dig at the team's losing streak: "Russell would’ve liked to have had 6 of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Canucks to be his pallbearers so they could have let him down one more time."
In addition to fans, the obituary caught the attention of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»radio personality Drex, who retweeted the obit with: "I guess this Canucks fan got the last laugh."
Atkins is survived by his daughter Kirsten Billings, and the rest of his family.
