Bail proceedings are continuing for a man charged with breaking and entering, unlawful confinement, choking and extortion.

Ping Feng Jiang, 40, appeared in custody before Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Provincial Court Judge Donna Senniw March 18.

The charges relate to alleged Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»incidents on March 12.

Defence lawyer Kevin Westell said a release with an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet could be a possibility.

However, Senniw heard, such a move would require a technical suitability report to be done.

Jiang remains in custody.
