Vancouver's River District set to welcome three exciting new restaurants

Bufala, an Italian restaurant with locations in Vancouver's Kerrisdale and North Vancouver's Edgemont Village, will add a third location soon in the city's growing River District

Suddenly the restaurant options in Vancouver's growing River District community are looking really, really good. The development has just revealed that the area will soon be home to three locations of established Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­restaurants, upping the culinary profile of the neighbourhood significantly.

Joining the retail options at the 130-acre planned community will be outposts of Bufala, Lucky Taco, and Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba.

and  are both brands under the Gooseneck Hospitality umbrella, the Vancouver-based restaurant powerhouse that also runs Bells & Whistles and Oh Carolina. Bufala is their Italian concept with roots in its modest Kerrisdale location, and another somewhat flashier location that opened a couple of years back on the North Shore. Lucky Taco is their casual Mexican cantina currently operating a single location in Kitsilano. 

The third newcomer to the River District will be , a global chain that set up shop initially in downtown Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­before expanding to include numerous locations in the Metro area. Mazesoba is a style of "soup-less" ramen; the chain began just shy of a decade ago in Japan.

Specifics about each of the three exciting new food ventures have not been shared yet, but we will keep you updated about specific locations and timelines and more as soon as more details become available.
