only has three locations in Metro Vancouver, but soon their fourth pizzeria will be opening just a couple of blocks from another one of their shops.
The new restaurant will be located at 514 West Broadway, just steps from Cambie Street. Signs are up, and renovations are ongoing inside.
"We will be having our grand opening soon at La Ruota West Broadway," spokesperson Aaron Mak tells V.I.A. in an email.
The pizza chain, which started as a partner to Pizza Garden, serves Neapolitan-style pizza with a handmade crust. La Ruota originated in Coquitlam before opening a location in Kitsilano at 2000 West 4th Ave. in 2018.
In 2021 they opened a second location at 2325 Cambie St., near the intersection with 7th Avenue. It's just a couple of blocks north of the incoming Broadway and Cambie location, but the plan is for both to be open.
"We are not closing the Cambie location," says Mak. "Both locations will be up and running as early as next week to better serve Vancouver—more staff, more pizzas, and quicker delivery."
Another new location is also neighbourhood in Burnaby.
