A long-time fixture in the downtown core, a local restaurant mini-chain known for its upscale pub fare and drinks has shuttered one of its Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»locations.

announced recently its Convention Centre outpost has closed permanently.

"We would like to take a moment and thank you for your continued support over the past 8 years," shared the business , calling its move to shut the doors at the Waterfront Building at 200 Burrard a "difficult decision."

To find another Rogue, however, it's not a terribly long distance; the restaurant has a location nearby at Waterfront Station (600 West Cordova Street). They also operate a location at 602 West Broadway, a block west from Cambie (and amidst the Broadway Subway construction).

Rogue is among a handful of downtown Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»restaurants shutting down after nearly a decade-long run. Earlier this month the "healthy fast-food" restaurant Smak closed up all three of its locations, all in the downtown core, citing the pandemic, changing consumer habits, and issues with neighbourhood safety.
