UNCLE FATIH'S PIZZA!

There are two distinct types of pizza in the city, there's places like Me-n-Ed's , and then there's the buck a slice category. I'm sure there is cheap pizza all over North America, but I think Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»has brought it up a notch...in some ways.

There are two distinct types of pizza in the city, there's places like , and then there's the buck a slice category.  I'm sure there is cheap pizza all over North America, but I think Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»has brought it up a notch...in some ways. I know at least whenever people from other parts of Canada come here, they comment on how many of them there are.  There's even a chain that advertises, 'Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»style Pizza!'  At first I wondered if this is something to be proud of, but I am now....I don't eat it very often, but I'm glad we have so many buck a slices, those times where I'm starving and feel like I have no options..it's always there for me.

Pizza garden on Commercial and on Commercial and Broadway are my two favourite spots, Megabites falls into my category of best chain.   What determines a good buck a slice place to me is so simple, it has to be busy.  If it's busy, it's fresh, and if it's fresh, it's good.  Most restaurants, if there's a line, I don't go, sometimes I even 'baahhhh' at people in line, buck a slice is the opposite, if there's no line, I don't go.

People out front...always a good sign.

I've heard they're opening another one on Main Street, they also have a location in the West End.  I used to have favourite toppings but for whatever reason freshness is that much more important to me, so I just get whatever came out of the oven most recently.

I know there's hundreds more....what's your buck a slice spot and how many do you think you've tried?
