Finally: Tsujiri, a heaven for green tea lovers, is ready to open their first Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»location, and have revealed an opening date for their Richmond shop.
The matcha-centric treats, tea, and eats spot will open on Feb. 14.
"TSUJIRI is pleased to announce the opening of our newest Canadian location, bringing Japanese-matcha-infused treats, both sweet and savory, to beautiful Richmond, British Columbia," said the brand on social media.
A bit more about them, from their announcement:
"We carry our founder’s spirit; Yuwa - 'To continue to innovate and sustain tradition.' In honoring Japanese culture and tradition, our mission at TSUJIRI Richmond Branch is to deliver a transcendent moment to you with premium Japanese tea following Omotenashi, the soul of Japanese hospitality through understanding, consideration, and wholeheartedness."
Foodies in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Tsujiri, a Japanese matcha maniac’s dream shop, since the summer of 2017, and got their hopes up last spring that an opening was imminent.
Tsujiri first teased local green tea lovers’ tastebuds in July 2017 when word got out the treats and eats spot would be opening up their first Western Canadian location.
