What a busy time for Vancouver's . The restaurant chain, which recently confirmed plans to move into a behemoth space at the Amazing Brentwood redevelopment in Burnaby, has just confirmed details about yet another location - this time in South Surrey.

Tap & Barrel will open at The Professional Centre at South Point, a brand new building located on 152nd St at Croydon Drive near the South Surrey communities of Rosemary Heights and Morgan Creek.

"Featuring high-end retail and office space, the location is central for major urban transportation routes, community facilities and new residential developments," .

The restaurant will be 13,500 square feet and feature nearly 500 seats, and Tap & Barrel says the venture will actually open up before the one at The Amazing Brentwood, with a target launch of spring 2022.

Tap & Barrel will be the only full-service restaurant at The Professional Centre, however, they will also offer take-out and delivery, including from the menu of its "ghost kitchen" brand Fixins Mac n’ Chicken. The menu will include seasonal dishes, elevated comfort classics, weekend brunch, kids' items, and plenty of beer and wine - on tap and from barrels, of course.

In addition to indoor restaurant and bar dining, Tap & Barrel's South Surrey outpost will also boast a year-round heated patio.

The first Tap & Barrel opened in 2012 in Vancouver's Olympic Village. The chain also has locations in Coal Harbour, North Vancouver's Shipyards, and will be the new identity of the iconic Bridges at Granville Island. The company's sibling spot, Brewhall, is also located in Olympic Village.
