Those seeking Chef Hung's noodles have one less location where they can find them in Metro Vancouver.
The Taiwanese noodle chain has shut down , it opened at 990 Smithe St.
The beef noodle restaurant was a new twist on the chain's usual concept, Chef Hung Taiwanese Beef Noodle. Several of the noodle shops Metro Vancouver, including in Kerrisdale, offering "the ultimate beef noodle experience" according to their website.
While the downtown Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»"Bistro" location is still listed on the company's site, the storefront is papered up and orders are no longer accepted via online delivery apps. It's also been removed from .
In September a sign on the front door noted it was temporarily closed, but it appears it permanently closed instead.
The location on Smithe was previously the home to Japanese restaurant Kamei Baru, which shuttered in October 2021.
