who posts on here from time to time, has some gnarly food allergies. This can be seen in posts like ….²¹²Ô»å … Trying a new place with him can be a real adventure, one second you be sampling some of the finest sushi in the city, next second, that tea they insisted was green tea, was really mugi (barley based tea), and it’s game on. The usual ride home discussing various boardsports and sneakers, turns into a buddy cop movie, but instead of trying to catch the evil Chinese drug lord, we’re trying to find a washroom…. Fast.
‘No officer….we’re not above the law…I just don’t want my friend to crap in my car…’
has been one of our here at VIA since it opened, and it looks like they’ve even got something for Gerald now. They invited me down a few weeks back to try their newest line of pizza. These aren’t any ordinary pizzas though, they’ve taken into consideration all sorts of dietary restrictions from a gluten free pizza, to a vegan pizza, and they’re all delicious.
Based on my experiences with Gerald, I know the slightest bit of wheat can really mess that dude up bad, so I grilled the owner about some of the ingredients and practices, and she had answers for everything, from wheat free sausage, to a whole separate part of the kitchen which is completely wheat free.
is a real hot topic here at VIA, and it’s good to know that the Wallflower is doing their best to make sure absolutely everyone can have a slice……AWESOME!
