Less than three years after opening in Vancouver, a Toronto-based Japanese ramen chain with 20 locations across North America is prepping to open its second Metro 鶹ýӳlocation.
will be opening a new restaurant on Lonsdale Ave. (#105 - 1325 Lonsdale Ave) in North 鶹ýӳthis month.
The first location opened on the UBC campus in the fall of 2020. A third Metro 鶹ýӳlocation will be opening in Surrey later this spring.
In Toronto, Kinton has won a Platinum award in the 'Best Asian' category at the 2019 Toronto Star Reader's Choice Awards and has been voted 'Toronto's Best Ramen' by readers of NOWMagazine for six consecutive years and is hoping to inspire the same level of fandom with 鶹ýӳramen lovers.
To celebrate North Vancouver's grand opening, on Sunday, March 19, Kinton Ramen will be offering all guests 50 per cent off their signature dishes from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The menu features hearty ramen bowls prepared with slow-cooked pork or chicken broth in five distinct styles—Original, Shoyu, Miso, Spicy Garlic and Spicy Jalapeño—with your choice of thick, thin, or shirataki (translucent konjac) noodles. There are also plant-based broth options and a choice of bamboo shoots, mushrooms, jalapeno paste, nori, and sweet corn toppings.
