Moving into the former Secret Location restaurant space in Gastown, Coquille will be a modern seafood restaurant. Headed by chefs Lee Cooper and Jack Chen, the 4,100-square-foot space is poised to welcome guests in winter 2018, offering fresh-caught ocean fare in an inviting space.

Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»pasta pro Chef Lucais Syme is prepping Autostrada for Main Street near 33 Street in Riley Park. Named for a kind of road in Italy, Autostrada will indeed be all things Italian, and, of course, be all about that beautiful pasta. We don't have a launch date yet, but the "opening soon" sign is up!

Tsujiri is an absolute mecca for fans of matcha and Japanese sweet-treats. Based in Japan, Tsujiri has a popular Toronto location, but their first foray into the Western Canadian market will be in Richmond at Central at Garden City. Here you can sip on signature hot and cold beverages, soft serve ice cream cones and sundaes, shave ice, pastries, and much more.

Calling all carnivores: Victoria's Bin 4 Burger Lounge is headed to the mainland. Settling into South Granville in the former Luke's location, Bin 4 will be slinging premium burgers, salads, sandwiches, monthly specials, drinks, desserts, and much more. Opening date TK.

When it comes to tantalizing tortillas, there's a lot to taco-bout right now in Vancouver. , so no wonder Whistler's La Cantina "urban taco bar" concept is wrapping up a southward expansion into the former Nelson Grocery space in downtown Vancouver. They've been prepping for an October open, so expect to get those tacos in your hand soon.
