New Thai food restaurant inspired by 'family history' coming to Port Coquitlam

A new Thai food restaurant will soon be opening in Port Coquitlam.

A new family-style Thai food restaurant is opening up soon in Port Coquitlam, the company has announced.

Called Thai Coco, the eatery is the latest addition to the Tri-Cities' considerable food offerings in the busy Westwood Street/Lougheed Highway shopping district.

And it means Tri-City residents will have a new place to try mouth-watering Thai food close to home.

Located at Unit Thai Coco promises "Good Mood Thai Food," according to its page.

"Inspired by a rich family history and driven by exceptional hospitality, Thai Coco creates healthy homemade dishes and a bright, fun beverage program," a post from July 4, further adds..

A date hasn't been provided, but Thai Coco has announced a summer opening.

The restaurant is located in Westwood Square, where the restaurant Takano Ramen used to operate.
