Earlier this year, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»said so long to veteran BBQ spot Peckinpah at 2 Water St in Gastown after a 10-year run.
While Peckinpah did ride off to greener pastures (they're relaunching soon, ), the restaurant space was replaced swiftly with - yes, another BBQ joint.
Country Roads, however, has already said its farewell to the Gastown space, and now another new concept is prepping to launch.
Called , the new restaurant will specialize in Swiss comfort fare - think "röoschtis" (a pan-fried potato dish) and fondue - but will focus on working with B.C. suppliers for its ingredients and beverage program. Röosh will also offer craft cocktails and B.C. beers and wines.
The new venture is currently in the hiring stage and is eyeing an early November opening. Follow on Instagram for updates and info.
