Pizza lovers, a new restaurant launching soon in New Westminster's Victoria Hill is hoping you'll be feeling the amore with their 'masterful' pies.
Called , the venture is the project of owner Abhiyan Rajhans, and takes its name from the Italian word for "honour."
Using scratch-made dough that's topped with locally-sourced as well as imported Italian ingredients, L'Onore plans to "honour" the tradition of pizza-making with what they're heralding as some "masterful" pies.
The menu will also feature a range of shareable appetizers, such as charcuterie and wings with locally made sauces, handmade pasta and meatballs. Look for drinks including classics like Aperol Spritz and Negroni, house-made cocktails, flavourful wines, and beer on tap from Strange Fellows Brewing.
The 35-seat restaurant will launch with COVID-19 safety protocols, including properly distanced tables (that bring capacity down to just 20 seats). The intimate, modern pizzeria is located at 28 East Royal Avenue in the Victoria Hill development.

The interior boasts an open kitchen concept, so diners can see the massive stone oven that was imported from Italy and carried by crane into the space.
“Launching a pizza restaurant has been a lifelong dream of mine," said Rajhans. "I have dedicated myself to learning the craft of pizza making and am thrilled to do so in a way that embraces British Columbian influences. My pizzas are made with simplicity and integrity - I think they will present a whole new experience for those who try them."
L'Onore will launch with afternoon and dinner service, and will be open Monday to Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m.; Fridays from 4 to 11 p.m.; Saturdays from 3 to 11 p.m.; and Sundays from 3 to 10 p.m.
Opening day has not been set, but L'Onore hopes to get its doors open this winter. Follow @lonore_pizza on Instagram for updates.
