A Hello Kitty Café is getting ready to open in Vancouver

It's pink, kawaii, and coming to Vancouver!

Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­appears to be on the brink of having its very own Hello Kitty Cafe, and it would be the first of its kind in Canada.

A former bubble tea shop space at 1274 Robson St is in the process of being transformed into an ultra-pink and kawaii , as caught by local food and lifestyle publication Noms Magazine, which also of them peeking in on the shop-in-progress.

So far, Sanrio has been silent about a Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­franchise for the cafe belonging to its most famous character. (The Instagram accounts about a Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­café seem to have been created by fans.) You can find an official Hello Kitty Cafe (for the U.S. at least) on Instagram ; it does not mention Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­at all.

We do know that currently has three iterations in the U.S. with two in Vegas and another in Southern California. They also  that pop up in various locations in the United States, with upcoming stops in Atlanta, Denver, and Seattle, among many others. In North America, there is also a Hello Kitty Cafe in Mexico City.

The original U.S. Hello Kitty Cafe in Irvine, Calif. serves a menu featuring a "supercute selection of cookies, cakes, seasonal items and handmade hot and iced drinks." 

A Google listing for the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Hello Kitty Cafe indicates a planned July 29 opening.
