Gordon Ramsay Steak restaurant opens in Richmond

From beef wellington to miso-glazed sablefish, many iconic dishes by the celebrity chef will be served at the local casino resort.

Well-known celebrity chef and media personality Gordon Ramsay's second Metro 鶹ýӳrestaurant finally has an opening date.

, inside Richmond's River Rock Casino Resort, is now taking reservations with the earliest table booking available this Sunday, Jan. 12.

This is the second location of Ramsay's brand after the opening of at the Great Canadian Casino 鶹ýӳin Coquitlam in 2023.

The restaurant features 266 seats with a main dining room, a bar and lounge, the outdoor Marina Terrace overlooking the Fraser River, and a private dining space.

The menu includes Ramsay's iconic signature dishes such as his beef Wellington and various steak selections such as A5 wagyu, certified Angus and dry-aged specialties as well as miso-glazed sablefish and wild bluefin tuna tartare.

“We’re very proud to collaborate with the legendary Chef Gordon Ramsay to bring his world-renowned Gordon Ramsay Steak to Canadians for the very first time,” said Matthew Anfinson, CEO of Great Canadian Entertainment, which operates Richmond River Rock Casino Resort.

“The anticipation since we announced this opening has been extraordinary, and to see the transformation of River Rock with the new restaurant is truly inspiring. We are always looking to create unforgettable dining and entertainment experiences for our guests, and we can think of no better place to debut this special restaurant than right here in B.C.”

Gordon Ramsay Steak's Richmond location is the first international outpost outside of the U.S.

The restaurant will be open for dinner every day from 5 to 9:30 p.m. with reservations made on OpenTable or through its .
