Bubble tea is one of Vancouver's most beloved crave-able treats, and now a new local Vancouver-based business is selling DIY kits so you can enjoy the Taiwanese drink in your own home, and for its launch proceeds will be going to a great cause.

is a new Pokemon-inspired enterprise focused on home delivery bubble tea kits, and they've teamed up with local entrepreneur, foodie, and ambitious fundraiser to help get people facing food insecurity their next meals.

Lee is currently donating all of the advertising revenue from his web series Secret Sauce in order to get over 10,000 people fed with the help of Feeding America and Food Banks Canada, and has so far raised enough for 4,500 meals.

Now Bobasaur is on board and will donate all proceeds from its bubble tea kits sold January 19 through February 2 - which means you still have plenty of time to order up one yourself.

The kits contain everything you will need to enjoy five servings of bubble tea: Roasted Milk tea sachets, tapioca pearls, cream (powder), sugar, a mason jar and compostable bubble tea straws. Bobasaur takes orders online and offers delivery across Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»at incremental price points.

You'll just need to get the pearls in the freezer and then when you're ready, follow the simple instructions to assemble your bubble tea; you can adjust the level of sweetness to your liking, too. Sip, and enjoy - maybe while watching one of Lee's Secret Sauce episodes, too, which are .

While the eight-episode Secret Sauce project was originally a “behind-the-scenes” look at the restaurant business, Lee said he realized while doing research for his show that many people were suffering from food insecurity.

“Realizing there is such a big problem in the marketplace made me want to do something about it since I’m in a position to help,” said Lee.

Now, Lee is thrilled Bobasaur's bubble tea kits can help out even more.

“We’re super excited about this collaboration and eager to make an even bigger impact!” says Lee.
