All aboard: Dine the Line spotlights Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»restaurants accessible by transit

Find fantastic food without forking over funds for fuel
dine-the-line
First launched in 2019, TransLink and West Coast Food's Dine the Line guides and maps to food and drink in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»via public transit have received a refresh for 2022.

For those looking to explore Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»by way of its restaurants with no driving involved, TransLink has re-upped its popular guides and maps to help you find great food around the region using public transit.

Created a few years back in partnership with B.C. tourism entity West Coast Food, Vancouver's transit agency has revitalized the delicious campaign after a pandemic pause.

Food fans can get on board with the guides by selecting a kind of experience or a specific route. For example, families in search of fantastic food without forking over funds for fuel can follow the guide, which runs from Downtown Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to the heart of Richmond on roads and rails.

New for 2022, Dine the Line has not only expanded to include six guides and maps with a dining style or cuisine focus ( in Burnaby, anyone?) but is also featuring stops that will take you on the SkyTrain, buses, RapidBus, and the SeaBus.

You can also isolate a line or mode of transit and dine minutes from stops along the Expo, Millennium, and Canada lines.

Every guide comes with a downloadable map, so just put on your eating pants, load up the Compass Card, and head out on a Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»food adventure.
