Step aside Swedish meatballs and 75-cent veggie hot dogs, IKEA is temporarily introducing new cuisine in celebration of Chinese New Year at select locations in Canada, including .
 – or while stock lasts – IKEA restaurant diners can try a dim sum combo or, on Feb. 3, take in a lion dance and receive a lucky red envelope.
The dim sum combo includes pork siu mai, a steamed BBQ pork bun, a vegetable spring roll, fried noodles with mixed vegetables and a fortune cookie for $8.88. Sticky rice, wonton soup and additional spring rolls can be included for additional cost.
On Feb. 3, visitors can celebrate with a lion dance at 1 p.m., which will include a traditional Chinese drum and presentation of lucky red envelopes which could have a gift card, coupon or treat inside.
