Popular Langley breakfast spot Eggbomb is coming to Burnaby by the end of August with a fresh and futuristic spin.
Manager Giana Yim said Eggbomb+ at the City of Lougheed will be an "innovative branch" of the growing chain, focused on creating memorable moments that "blend creativity, fresh, new ingredients and genuine hospitality."
The new location, designed with LED lights and a white-and-chrome concept, will feature the same beloved (full of "croissant waffles" or "croffles") and add a variety of upgrades, including an expanded dinner service.
The dinner menu will include burgers, pasta and more.
And that's not the only "plus" about the new Burnaby spot.
"One thing we're really excited about is we're bringing a new concept, a K-bar, that has not been yet seen in Vancouver," Yim said.
The bar will feature a variety of cocktails and alcoholic drinks, most of them with a fusion flair using Korean alcohol as the base.
Yim added the restaurant has been designed with a "futuristic state of mind."
The service will include human servers - and robots.
Yim said the Burnaby location at Lougheed, steps away from Lougheed SkyTrain station, and proximity to SFU and nearby colleges, will make the new shop a convenient destination for locals and customers in other cities to visit.
Eggbomb+ opens at on Monday, Aug. 26.
