During last year's ! Â We asked what your places were. Â I'm rarely up late, but the few times I have been this year, I've really had a hard time finding a place to eat.
My standards aren't really that high, but one thing that restricts my choices is that the places must be good....while sober.
When I lived on the west side, Calhoun's was always a really good spot, and on the east side we do have, but for some reason that place at night makes me feel like I'm not sober.... the lights maybe....
Finally, last night coming home from the , I found it! Â , in one of Vancouver's more underrated strips on 49th near Fraser (cue the Honest Nat's jingle)
I love ...the choices, the price...the freshness. Â This place is pretty much Calhoun's east, right down to the 'hey..this isn't a library!'. Â I'm really backing the old school bakery feel too, the sugar cookies, gingerbread men....mmmm.....
