These Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»bakeries and masters of confectionery are playing Easter Bunny this year with treats that will delight adults and children alike. If you're going for bougiest Easter egg hunt they're perfect, or perhaps you're putting together a basket to impress. Either way, these aren't your average chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs, they're edible showpieces.

Mon Paris Pâtisserie considers Easter the most adorable holiday of the year and has whipped up a collection of charming colourful chocolates, from cute little chicks and ducks to big fruit and nut Easter eggs. There are also Easter pastry boxes with a selection of Butter Croissants, Blueberry Puffs, Fruit Cups, Almond Double-Baked Croissants, and Kouign-Amanns to get the morning off to a good start. It's all about the blooms at Buttermere this Easter. The seven-inch tall stuffed Easter eggs are back by popular demand this year in four two-toned pastel styles in shades of pink, turquoise, yellow, and green. Inside are caramel hazelnuts, strawberry and chocolate pretzel cookies, mini passionfruit and strawberry chocolate bars, and other bite-sized treats.
Beaucoup Bakery is reviving the dinosaurs and bringing back its Jurassic-inspired Easter collection this year. Dinosaur sprinkle cookies, dino nest cakes, and dino chocolate eggs stuffed with a plush toy are all on the menu. Plus the more traditional hot cross buns and Kugelhopf.
For the first time ever, East Van Roasters is offering large Easter eggs. Don't worry, the signature mini eggs are still on offer with flavours like pecan praline, crispy salted caramel, and blackberry peachleaf but the big eggs are available in 70 per cent Peruvian chocolate and 42 per cent toasted white chocolate both of which are filled with crispy rice eggs and Easter figurines.
For the families considering an Easter cake this year, Parisian bakery Faubourg has created a pastel delight with layers of white chocolate lemon mousse, orange bergamot cremeux, hazelnut panna cotta, and vanilla sablé breton. For individual desserts, there are the delicate Easter bunny made from lemongrass mousse, blueberry gelée, and earl grey financier or the milk chocolate mousse Easter egg with dark chocolate swirl, raspberry gelée and almond crunch jaconde.
Specializing in Swedish candies, Karameller is a great online destination based in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»(with local pick up options) for ordering up delicious and hard-to-find treats. Their Easter cube is a festive mix of mini fried eggs, Swedish jelly beans, Easter pastel marshmallows and pastel mint chocolates. Mini eggs are a staple of Easter but combine that with ice cream, or, better yet, ice cream cake from a local award-winning ice cream parlour? It's a match made in heaven. Le Glace is once again serving up the seasonal favourite and they've added cream egg ice cream to the menu, and mini egg ice cream bars.

Chez Christophe is back with three showstopping eggs and a limited edition Easter cruffin (croissant muffin) with orange namelaka (inverted ganache) and topped with mini eggs. The Easter eggs are the Galaxy milk chocolate and the "Fashionably Laid" dark chocolate eggs in either Black & Gold filled with corn puffs coated in 83 per cent dark and 35 per cent caramelized white chocolate ​or ​Tri-Colour filled with corn puffs coated in 42% milk chocolate and freeze-dried cranberry coated a mix of dark and white chocolate.​​​
Thierry's jewel toned Easter eggs are back this year and inside each one there's an assortment of dark praline, milk caramel & white chocolate passionfruit mini eggs.
