But Vancity also got chunks of beefy plumps (in soup). Kinda like Latin American nations have salsa, tango, samba, merengue, mariachi - Asian nations each have their own kind of noodle & soup styles....and are all rep'ed quite well here.
Lao Shan Dong Noodle House serves a dark and spicy broth with fresh made noodles and hearty chunks of beef briskets. I believe its native to mainland China but popularized in Taiwan. There are quite a few of these joints poppin up round town. Not sure if on the Taiwanese steez but heard Beefy Beef Noodle @ Main/King Ed is also beefy bomb for cheap (same plaza as Zakkushi). Lao Shan Dong also has cool, cold appy plates (bottom left pic) and you can also got your beef on, on rice (bottom right pic).
