This is probably the most biased beer review you'll ever read

New Westminster's newest and most exciting craft brewery recently caught my attention in a big way with the release of a special edition can.

Yes, a beer can. Today I'm very excited about a beer can.

With artwork designed by none other than  (who currently works as an art director at Element Skateboards and who formerly headed up at Girl Skateboards), it's the best can design in British Columbia right now.

Heck, it's even better than R&B Brewing's nearly-unbeatable  design.

Released in a limited edition of which they're almost sold out of, Another Beer Co's  has a creative and crisp flavour profile, and this beer is currently my favourite because of a huge personal bias; it was designed by someone who I owe a massive debt to for helping me get to where I am today.

Jenkins was an early mentor of mine when I lived in California in the early 2000s, working in the skateboard industry. He helped me turn my eye for design into an actual skillset as I figured out tools like Photoshop and Illustrator under his watch; I worked under him at Girl Skateboards. The early iterations of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» were built and designed by me, and Jenkins' magic and "just go for it" approach that rubbed off on me helped make it a reality.

Another Beer Co's co-founder Alex Jopson grew up on skateboarding, and he tells me that he's been thrilled to work with artists who work in the space. He's not only released this Jenkins design but also got  to design one for their Kveik Farmhouse IPA, and  did one for their Hefe.

If you're out in New West stop in to their tasting room at #11-30 Capilano Way.

And (more bias here) stay tuned as we just might be working on a special project with them in the future.
