Broyé Cafe and Bakery is opening a new location in downtown Vancouver.

An East Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»cafe and bakery is heading west with a second location in the downtown core.

Broyé Café and Bakery will be opening up soon in the food hall at 530 Hornby St., bringing mochi croissants (a.k.a. moissants), Japanese melon pan (a type of sweet bun) and other sweet treats with it. Along with the Japanese foods, they carry Vietnamese coffee.

"We'd love to bring you Vietnam's coffee-drinking culture and its mouthwatering taste that will surely satisfy your taste buds," states their website.

Signs are up at the new location, and renovations are happening behind a sheet of plastic. Inside, a small cafe can be spotted with origami cranes hanging from the ceiling.

The original Broyé is located at 6414 Fraser St. in the Sunset neighbourhood. It gained a following for its moissants and other snacks after opening in 2022.
