"It’s silly, it’s funny, it’s spooky, it’s full of holiday cheer and, best of all, it’s really good fun."
That's how Chris Pershick, one of the organizers of Cougar Creek's House of Horrors, describes what's going on for the holiday season at the new "Xmas of Chaos" haunted house in Surrey.
"We’ve completely revamped our haunted houses to do a fun, spooky Christmas event with live actors, new Christmas soundtracks, and new creepy Christmas decorations," Pershick tells Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» via email, adding: "I believe we’re the only Christmas themed haunt in Canada!"
Touted as "the perfect mix of Xmas and horror," all those who wish spooky season stuck around much longer are ideal candidates for grabbing some tickets to this event, which opened Dec. 3 and runs select night through Dec. 23.
You'll be able to see the poor elf that fell off the shelf, a Nutcracker with a taste for reindeer meat, and more than one macabre Santa - if you're brave enough to face the Christmas-themed chaos.
The event is not recommended for those 14 and under, however, Cougar Creek is offering a toned-down version without live actors for two remaining Sundays, Dec. 12 and 19, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable. Proof of vaccination is required entry.
