Showcasing the edible wares of about two dozen of B.C.'s best plant-based vendors, a mini Veg Fest is happening this weekend in Vancouver.

Showcasing the edible wares of about two dozen of B.C.'s best plant-based vendors, a mini Veg Fest is happening this weekend in Vancouver.

Taking place in Mount Pleasant on Sunday, September 23 from 11 am to 5 pm, this market-style vegan food fest will be a one-stop shop for some amazing animal-free products.

In addition to the foods for purchase--like colourful goodies from Dipped Doughnut Co., tasty nut milks from NutMeg Mylk, tempeh from Tempea, and plant-based cheese from Blue Heron--Veg Fest will also have live music, beer, and the chance to chat with some of the region's coolest plant-based food producers.
