Vancouver's previously postponed Just for Laughs comedy festival will once again be taking place later this month.
Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions implemented earlier this year the show was forced to reschedule which caused some of the previously announced artists and programming to be cancelled. More information regarding these performances will be coming in the coming days. The show has been rescheduled to take place from May 25-29 in venues across the city. The special concert show, Trevor Noah: Back To Abnormal World Tour, set to take place at the Rogers Arena on Saturday, Feb. 26 will be moving forward as scheduled.
"Festival programmers, staff, local venues and artists have worked tirelessly these past few weeks to ensure that Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»receives the ultimate comedy festival experience, without having to compromise much of the original lineup," festival organizers wrote in a recent statement. "As a result, some of these rebooked shows will be happening outside of the five-day festival, but will be presented with the special Just For Laughs Vancouver touch!"
High-profile comedians like Marc Maron and Maria Bamford had been slated to take part, along with Nicole Byer and nearly four dozen other solo or group comedy acts.
