The festive lights at have been switched back on after two years of darkness.
Now in its 37th year, the Festival of Lights and it's over one million twinkling lights and themed displays are sure to get even the biggest of humbugs into the holiday spirit. At least, that sure appears to be the case as Vancouverites flocked to social media to share their experience on the festival's opening night.
To keep things COVID-safe, the event will swap out some previous activities and features, like the carousel and photos with Santa, in favour of some new experiences, like an illuminated rose garden display, a "letters to Santa" activity for children, and lots of food.
