Smooth-talking con men seducing vulnerable women, stories you don't find in Canadian history books, and plenty of killers - these are the basis for some of the most popular podcasts right now, and some of their key players will soon be in town for the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Podcast Festival.
Back for a second year following a highly successful start in 2018, the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Podcast Festival will take place November 7-10, 2019.
The fest recently revealed their programming lineup, and highlights include a talk from journalist Christopher Goffard, the man behind the stories and podcast (and the Netflix series) Dirty John; a masterclass with The Allusionist's Helen Zaltzman; The Secret Life of Canada live onstage; insider intel and tips from Dark Poutine's Mike Browne; a live Red Man Laughing show; and much more.
The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Podcast Festival is aimed at entertaining listeners and fans with talks and shows, as well as providing an opportunity for anyone doing or plotting a podcast to learn from industry pros during masterclass workshops.
